“O Dundo" was inspired by the landscapes of Lunda (located in the northeast of Angola), where Ruca Rebordão was born, in the city of Dundo . His entire childhood (up to
13 years old) was spent in this area of Angola. There, Ruca received unique cultural influences of the chocuê (or quioco) people, that stand out for their artistic tradition.
